Transporting goods via in-country crossings

Transporting goods from the West Bank to Israel

  1. Receiving goods to be exported from Ashdod / Haifa port or at the airport.

 

  1. The goods on the trucks arrive at the in-country crossing.
  2. Upon arrival at the check point, the driver must show all relevant documents: customs export declaration (Palestinian or Israeli), commercial invoice, packing list, country of origin and other necessary documents, depending on the type of goods.
  3. The driver must get the customs statement signed by representatives of the Israel Tax Authority on both sides of the crossing.
  4. If the truck is Palestinian, the goods must be transferred to the Israeli side of the crossing by an Israeli truck through successive transport.

 

  1. Entering goods to be marketed in the Israeli market.

 

        1. The goods on the trucks arrive at the in-country crossing.

Notes:

  • Coordination between the Israeli and the Palestinian carrier companies is usually done through the carrier company itself, or by the customs agent.

 

  • Restriction on size at the crossings:
  • Once the packages are ready, the weight must be considered and fit with the forklift capacity to move the packages easily from one truck to another.
  • When packing the packages (ballets), their height must not exceed 160 cm to enable package checking with the scanner.
